Solid week overall. I tried not to overthink the Michigan vs Oklahoma game, but it turns out that maybe a little bit of thinking would have benefited our cause. I also found an old bet slip from the beginning of August, betting on Oklahoma State +18.5 vs Oregon. I’m not counting that in my results for this week since I didn’t publish the pick ahead of time, but that was a nice surprise for my DraftKings balance. I nailed most of my NFL picks, the only one that really pissed me off was the Browns and Jaguars. For those who don’t know, I’m a lifelong Browns fan (my family have been season ticket holders for over 60 years), which means that I hate Deshaun Watson more than almost any other living human right now. So when I had to sit there and watch one of the most uninspired efforts I have ever seen, only for my bet to be ruined by a Deshaun Watson garbage time touchdown? Let me tell you, I was fuming. But anyways, we’ll take a ~3 unit profit any time we can get it. I’m back to the drawing board and cooking up some picks for this week’s college and NFL slates. Stay tuned later this week for my picks, they should be dropping sometime Friday morning.
